Tater Tot Casserole

Enjoy a classic comfort food with this easy and delicious Tater Tot Casserole recipe, loaded with beef, vegetables, and gooey cheese - perfect for a family dinner.

Ingredients :

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup white onion chopped
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 bag tater tots frozen
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded

Directions :

  1. Place a large pan over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Once the pan is hot, add the onion and saute until softened and slightly opaque.
  2. Add the ground beef, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook until browned.
  3. Stir in mushroom soup, and cook until heated through. Remove from heat.
  4. Add the ground beef mixture to a greased casserole dish and top with a layer of frozen tater tots.
  5. Cover with cheese and bake at 350F for 30-45 minutes.
  6. Top with fresh herbs, serve, and enjoy!
