
Stuffed Cornish Hens
Stuffed Cornish Hens are a perfect dish for special occasions or a fancy dinner at home. Ingredients :
- 2 Cornish hens
- 2 cups bread stuffing or cooked rice
- 4 tablespoon butter melted
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon rosemary
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ lemon sliced
Directions :
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the stuffing – Mix bread stuffing, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Stuff the hens – Fill each Cornish hen with the stuffing and tie the legs together with kitchen twine.
- Season and baste – Rub melted butter over the hens and place lemon slices on top.
- Bake for 1 hour, basting with butter every 20 minutes.
- Check doneness – The internal temperature should be 165°F (74°C).
- Rest for 10 minutes before serving.
