With its flaky crust, creamy filling, and flavorful spinach, it’s a crowd-pleaser that’s both satisfying and easy to make. Whether you’re serving it for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner, spinach quiche is always a great choice.

Ingredients :

  • 1 pie crust store-bought or homemade
  • 2 cups fresh spinach or 10 oz frozen spinach, thawed and drained
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk or cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar, mozzarella, or feta
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg optional
  • 1 small onion finely diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter

  2. Heat olive oil or butter in a pan over medium heat. Sauté onions until soft, then add spinach and cook until wilted. Remove excess water and let cool.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk or cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Stir in the cheese and spinach mixture.
  4. Pour the filling into the pre-baked crust, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the quiche is set and golden brown on top.
  6. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
