Ingredients :

  • 4-6 bone-in pork chops
  • 1-2 large onions thinly sliced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Directions :

  1. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
  3. Add the pork chops and sear on both sides until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the sliced onions and cook until translucent.
  5. Sprinkle flour over the onions, stirring constantly until a paste forms.
  6. Slowly pour in the chicken broth, stirring constantly to prevent lumps from forming.
  7. Return the pork chops to the skillet, ensuring they're submerged in the gravy.
  8. Cover and let simmer for about 25-30 minutes, until the pork chops are cooked through.
