
Slow Cooker London Broil
Slow cooker London broil is tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Cooked in a rich sauce, it’s perfect over mashed potatoes or paired with vegetables!
Ingredients :
- 2-3 lb London broil top round steak
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 medium onion sliced
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil for searing
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch optional, for thickening
Directions :
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the London broil on both sides until browned, about 3 minutes per side. Transfer to the slow cooker.
- Add the sliced onions and garlic to the slow cooker, spreading them over the meat.
- In a bowl, mix beef broth, soy sauce, thyme, and black pepper. Pour the mixture over the meat.
- Cover and cook on low for 7–8 hours or on high for 4–5 hours, until the meat is tender.
- Remove the meat and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Optional: To thicken the sauce, mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water. Stir into the slow cooker and cook on high for 5–10 minutes until thickened.
- Serve the sliced meat with the sauce and your favorite sides.
