  • 6 chicken thighs or drumsticks
  • 1 can 28 oz crushed tomatoes
  • 2 bell peppers sliced
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • ½ cup pitted black or green olives
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup chicken broth or red wine optional
