
Seared Tuna

Ingredients :
- ½ cup soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon ginger minced
- 1 teaspoon garlic minced
- ½ lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- ½ pound tuna steaks
- ¼ cup sesame seeds
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 sprigs fresh cilantro chopped
- 1 scallion chopped
Directions :
- In an oven-safe dish, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, lemon, salt, and pepper to make a marinade.
- Spread the sesame seeds on a plate and dredge to coat all sides of your marinated tuna steaks.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Once hot, carefully place your crusted tuna steaks in the pan to sear on both sides (approximately 1-2 minutes).
