Seafood Stew

Seafood stew is a comforting, flavorful dish that brings together fresh shrimp, fish, and clams in a rich tomato broth. It's a quick and easy recipe that still feels special, perfect for a cozy family dinner or a meal with friends.

Ingredients :

  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb white fish fillets like cod or haddock, cut into chunks
  • 1 lb clams scrubbed
  • 1 can 14.5 oz diced tomatoes
  • 4 cups fish stock
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Directions :

  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until soft, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add the minced garlic and paprika, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the diced tomatoes and fish stock, stirring well. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Add the chunks of white fish to the pot and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Add the shrimp and clams to the pot. Cover and cook for another 5-7 minutes until the clams open and the shrimp turn pink.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
