
Seafood Stew
Seafood stew is a comforting, flavorful dish that brings together fresh shrimp, fish, and clams in a rich tomato broth. It's a quick and easy recipe that still feels special, perfect for a cozy family dinner or a meal with friends.
Ingredients :
- 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
- 1 lb white fish fillets like cod or haddock, cut into chunks
- 1 lb clams scrubbed
- 1 can 14.5 oz diced tomatoes
- 4 cups fish stock
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions :
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until soft, about 5 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and paprika, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the diced tomatoes and fish stock, stirring well. Bring to a simmer.
- Add the chunks of white fish to the pot and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Add the shrimp and clams to the pot. Cover and cook for another 5-7 minutes until the clams open and the shrimp turn pink.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
