
Pork Schnitzel
Pork schnitzel is a simple, crispy, and delicious dish made with thin slices of pork coated in breadcrumbs and pan-fried until golden brown. Ingredients :
- 4 pork cutlets about ½ inch thick
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs regular or panko
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Oil for frying
- Lemon wedges for serving
Directions :
- Place pork cutlets between plastic wrap and gently pound to even thickness.
- Season with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs.
- Coat each pork cutlet first in flour, then dip in egg, and finally cover with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Fry each schnitzel for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Transfer to a paper towel or wire rack to drain.
- Serve warm with lemon wedges and your favorite sides.
