
Pasta Arrabiata
Quick and spicy pasta arrabiata with garlic, tomatoes, and red chili flakes – a simple, flavorful Italian meal ready in just 30 minutes!
Ingredients :
- 200 g penne pasta
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 can 400g crushed tomatoes
- ½ teaspoon red chili flakes adjust to taste
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley or basil chopped, for garnish
- Parmesan cheese for serving optional
Directions :
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute, being careful not to burn it.
- Add the crushed tomatoes and red chili flakes to the skillet. Stir well and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated with the sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley or basil, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.
