Pasta Arrabiata

Quick and spicy pasta arrabiata with garlic, tomatoes, and red chili flakes – a simple, flavorful Italian meal ready in just 30 minutes!

Ingredients :

  • 200 g penne pasta
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can 400g crushed tomatoes
  • ½ teaspoon red chili flakes adjust to taste
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or basil chopped, for garnish
  • Parmesan cheese for serving optional

Directions :

  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute, being careful not to burn it.
  3. Add the crushed tomatoes and red chili flakes to the skillet. Stir well and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  4. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated with the sauce.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley or basil, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.
