
Parmesan Crusted Walleye
When it comes to quick and easy meals, this parmesan-crusted walleye is one of my favorites.
Ingredients :
- ½ cup flour
- 1 tablespoon seafood seasoning
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- ½ cup parmesan cheese shredded
- 2 eggs
- 2-4 fillets walleye
- ½ - 1 cup olive oil
Directions :
- In a shallow dish or plate, mix flour and seasoning until combined. Set aside.
- Using another plate, combine breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese. Set aside.
- Whisk eggs into a third plate or dish.
- Take your walleye fillet, and dredge it first in the flour mixture, then the egg wash, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat your olive oil in a frying pan until it's bubbling hot, then carefully place your fillet in the pan.
- Fry your walleye fillets for 5-8 minutes or until the crust is crispy and golden brown, flipping halfway through.
- Remove your fillets from the pan and place them on a cooling rack. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve while fresh, and enjoy
