Oatmeal Pancakes

Oatmeal pancakes are a delicious twist on a breakfast classic. Instead of traditional flour, these pancakes use oats, making them heartier and healthier. They are easy to whip up and can be made with ingredients you likely already have in your kitchen.

Ingredients :

  • 2 cups oats ground into flour
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Butter or oil for cooking

Directions :

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground oats, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, beat the eggs with the milk and vanilla extract.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined; let the batter sit for 5 minutes.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil.
  5. Pour ¼ cup of batter for each pancake onto the hot skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
  6. Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
