Mongolian Beef

Tender Mongolian beef stir-fried in a savory-sweet sauce; perfect with rice or noodles. Easy to make and irresistibly delicious!

Ingredients :

  • 1 pound flank steak thinly sliced against the grain
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • 1/ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon freshly minced ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic minced

Directions :

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, and garlic. Mix until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Marinate the sliced beef in the sauce for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a pan or wok over high heat. Add a bit of oil.
  4. Add the beef slices (save the marinade) and stir fry quickly until they're just cooked through.
  5. Pour the saved marinade over the beef and let it simmer until the sauce thickens.
  6. Serve hot with your choice of sides.
