Instant Hawaiian Beef Stew

A tangy & rich tomato gravy simmers with onions, carrots, potatoes, & beef until perfectly fall-apart tender.

Ingredients :

  • 2 lb beef chuck diced
  • ¼ cup flour divided into 2
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ onion chopped
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 3 carrots cut
  • 5 potatoes in half
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup worcestershire sauce
  • 8 oz tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 cup beef broth
  • ½ cup beef stock

Directions :

  1. In a bowl mix the beef with salt, pepper and half of the amount of flour .
  2. Press "saute" and add oil to the Instant Pot.
  3. Add the beef to the Instant Pot and saute for 3 minutes.
  4. Add onion, celery, carrots and potatoes.
  5. Add tomato sauce, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and tomato paste.
  6. Add beef broth and stir well.
  7. Close the lid and cook on high pressure for 35 minutes.
  8. When cooking time is complete, wait for a natural release and open the lid.
  9. Take the remaining flour and mix it with the beef stock.
  10. Pour the mixture into the Instant Pot and stir well.
  11. Serve and enjoy
