Ground Beef Stroganoff

Easy ground beef stroganoff with mushrooms and creamy sauce. A classic comfort food ready in 35 minutes—perfect over noodles, rice, or mashed potatoes!

Ingredients :

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1½ cups mushrooms sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1½ cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¾ cup sour cream
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 oz egg noodles cooked
  • Fresh parsley optional, for garnish

Directions :

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and mushrooms. Cook for 5 minutes until soft.
  2. Add garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain extra fat.
  4. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Stir and simmer for 8–10 minutes until thickened.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream, salt, and pepper.
  7. Serve over cooked egg noodles and garnish with parsley if desired.
