Eggless Pancakes

Eggless pancakes are a wonderful breakfast option for those who are allergic to eggs or prefer a lighter version of traditional pancakes. These pancakes are fluffy, soft, and incredibly easy to make with simple ingredients you likely already have at home.

Ingredients :

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ¼ cups milk
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter plus extra for cooking
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional

Directions :

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add the milk and melted butter to the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined; some lumps are okay.
  3. If using, stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter.
  5. Pour ¼ cup of batter onto the pan for each pancake.
  6. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes, until golden brown.
  8. Repeat with the remaining batter, adding more butter to the pan as needed.
