Cuban Pork

Enjoy a taste of Cuba at home with this authentic and flavorful Cuban Pork recipe. Perfectly marinated, slow-roasted, and full of zest, this dish is sure to impress at any meal.

Ingredients :

  • 4 pounds pork shoulder
  • 8 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • ½ cup lime juice
  • 2 teaspoonscumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions :

  1. In a bowl, combine the minced garlic, orange juice, lime juice, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place the pork shoulder in a large dish or resealable bag. Pour the marinade over the pork, making sure it's fully coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours, or overnight.
  3. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the pork from the marinade (reserve the marinade) and place it in a roasting pan.
  4. Roast for about 4 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily pulls apart.
  5. Let the pork rest for 15 minutes before slicing. Serve with reserved marinade as a sauce.
