
Cinnamon Roll Muffins

Ingredients :
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- ½ cup butter melted
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- For the Filling:
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- For the Icing:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions :
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin or line with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, combine the melted butter, milk, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter for the filling.
- Fill each muffin cup halfway with batter, add a spoonful of the filling, then top with more batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- While the muffins are baking, prepare the icing by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Let the muffins cool for a few minutes, then drizzle with icing before serving.
