Ingredients :
- 1 cup parsley
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- ¼ cup red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon peppercorns
- ½ cup olive oil
- 1.4 pounds steak
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper to taste
- 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
Directions :
- Add the parsley, garlic oregano, red wine vinegar, peppercorns, and olive oil in a food processor or blender and blend into a paste. Set aside.
- Season your steak with salt and pepper, and heat some olive oil in a pan on medium-high heat.
- Add your steak to the hot pan and cook for 3-5 minutes on each side to achieve a nice sear.
- Once the steak is cooked to your preference, remove it from the heat, tent it with aluminum foil, and let it rest for 5-10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute, giving you a juicier and more flavorful steak.
- Slice your rested steak against the grain to ensure a more tender bite.
- Serve your chimichurri steak topped with your homemade chimichurri sauce, and enjoy 🙂
