Chimichurri Steak

This easy chimichurri steak recipe is the perfect answer to your busy weeknight dinner woes. Fresh, healthy, and fulfilling, everyone will love this dish.

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup parsley
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • ¼ cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon peppercorns
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 1.4 pounds steak
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper to taste
  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil

Directions :

  1. Add the parsley, garlic oregano, red wine vinegar, peppercorns, and olive oil in a food processor or blender and blend into a paste. Set aside.
  2. Season your steak with salt and pepper, and heat some olive oil in a pan on medium-high heat.
  3. Add your steak to the hot pan and cook for 3-5 minutes on each side to achieve a nice sear.
  4. Once the steak is cooked to your preference, remove it from the heat, tent it with aluminum foil, and let it rest for 5-10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute, giving you a juicier and more flavorful steak.
  5. Slice your rested steak against the grain to ensure a more tender bite.
  6. Serve your chimichurri steak topped with your homemade chimichurri sauce, and enjoy 🙂
