
Chili Mac
Easy and comforting Chili Mac recipe combining hearty chili, cheesy pasta, and classic flavors. Perfect for weeknight dinners, potlucks, or a cozy family meal.
Ingredients :
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup elbow macaroni
- 1 can 15 oz kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can 14.5 oz diced tomatoes
- 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
- 1 small onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups chicken or beef broth
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Directions :
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sautéing until softened.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute to release flavors.
- Add diced tomatoes, kidney beans, and broth. Bring to a simmer.
- Stir in macaroni and cook until pasta is tender, about 10 minutes. Stir occasionally.
- Reduce heat, add shredded cheese, and stir until melted.
- Serve warm, topped with your favorite garnishes.
