
Chicken Parmesan Pasta
Chicken Parmesan Pasta is a cheesy, comforting dish with tender chicken, rich marinara, and perfectly cooked pasta. A family-friendly meal everyone will love!
Ingredients :
- 2 chicken breasts sliced into cutlets
- 2 cups cooked pasta penne or rigatoni
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped fresh basil for garnish
Directions :
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken cutlets with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown but not fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add marinara sauce and bring to a simmer. Stir in the cooked pasta and mix until coated.
- Transfer the pasta and sauce to a baking dish. Place the seared chicken on top.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the chicken and pasta.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh basil if desired and serve hot.
