Chicken Parmesan Pasta

Chicken Parmesan Pasta is a cheesy, comforting dish with tender chicken, rich marinara, and perfectly cooked pasta. A family-friendly meal everyone will love!

Ingredients :

  • 2 chicken breasts sliced into cutlets
  • 2 cups cooked pasta penne or rigatoni
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped fresh basil for garnish

Directions :

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken cutlets with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown but not fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add marinara sauce and bring to a simmer. Stir in the cooked pasta and mix until coated.
  5. Transfer the pasta and sauce to a baking dish. Place the seared chicken on top.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the chicken and pasta.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil if desired and serve hot.
