If you’re looking for something cozy, creamy, and not super complicated, this Chicken Florentine’s got you.

Ingredients :

  • 2.5 pounds chicken breast
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ cup dry white wine
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • ⅔ cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup baby spinach
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese shredded

Directions :

  1. Season the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper, ensuring it is evenly coated.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add your chicken breasts to the hot pan and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side. Remove the chicken from the pan once there is a nice golden brown crust on the outside.
  4. Deglaze the pan with white wine and add in the garlic. Saute until aromatic, and then whisk in the flour.
  5. Slowly whisk the broth into the mixture until all the flour has been incorporated, then whisk in the milk.
  6. Add the chicken back into the pan, bring to a simmer, reduce the heat, cover, and continue to saute the chicken for 5-7 minutes.
  7. Stir in the baby spinach and top the chicken with the parmesan cheese.
  8. Cover again and let it cook until the spinach has wilted and the cheese has melted.
  9. Serve this easy chicken florentine with your favorite side dishes, and enjoy!
