Ingredients :

  • 3 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 can 16 oz biscuits
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables peas, carrots, celery
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 3 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions :

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté the onion until soft, then stir in the mixed vegetables.
  3. Sprinkle flour over the vegetables and stir until combined. Slowly pour in chicken broth, whisking to avoid lumps.
  4. Add heavy cream, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer until the mixture thickens.
  5. Stir in shredded chicken and transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  6. Place biscuits on top of the chicken mixture, leaving space between each.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
