Ingredients :
- 3 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1 can 16 oz biscuits
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups mixed vegetables peas, carrots, celery
- 1 small onion diced
- 3 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions :
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté the onion until soft, then stir in the mixed vegetables.
- Sprinkle flour over the vegetables and stir until combined. Slowly pour in chicken broth, whisking to avoid lumps.
- Add heavy cream, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer until the mixture thickens.
- Stir in shredded chicken and transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
- Place biscuits on top of the chicken mixture, leaving space between each.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
