Cherry Tomato Pasta

Easy Cherry Tomato Pasta recipe with fresh tomatoes, garlic, and basil. Light, flavorful, and perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.

Ingredients :

  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes
  • 12 ounces pasta spaghetti or your choice
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup fresh basil chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions :

  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add cherry tomatoes and cook until they burst and release their juices, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Add reserved pasta water if the sauce needs more liquid.
  5. Toss the cooked pasta in the skillet with the tomato sauce. Add fresh basil and mix well.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with additional basil or grated cheese if desired.
