
Cherry Tomato Pasta
Easy Cherry Tomato Pasta recipe with fresh tomatoes, garlic, and basil. Light, flavorful, and perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.
Ingredients :
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes
- 12 ounces pasta spaghetti or your choice
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- ¼ cup fresh basil chopped
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions :
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add cherry tomatoes and cook until they burst and release their juices, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Add reserved pasta water if the sauce needs more liquid.
- Toss the cooked pasta in the skillet with the tomato sauce. Add fresh basil and mix well.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional basil or grated cheese if desired.
