Cheese Croissants

Cheese croissants are a soft, flaky, and cheesy treat that is perfect for breakfast, snacks, or even as a light meal. They are made by filling buttery puff pastry with melty cheese and baking until golden brown. This recipe is very simple and needs only a few ingredients.

Ingredients :

  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • ½ cup shredded cheese cheddar, mozzarella, or cream cheese
  • 1 egg for egg wash
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter optional
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Directions :

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 8 triangles.
  3. Place a small amount of cheese on the wide end of each triangle.
  4. Roll each triangle from the wide end to the tip to form a croissant shape.
  5. Place the croissants on the baking sheet.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg and melted butter.
  7. Sprinkle with a little salt and pepper.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown and flaky.
  9. Let cool slightly and serve warm.
