Buckwheat Bread

Did you know that buckwheat is naturally gluten-free? That's right! So, if you deal with gluten intolerance, this bread is a great way to get naturally gluten-free (and dairy-free) bread that tastes great. Not only does this delicious bread taste great, but it's also packed with essential vitamins, minerals, and nutrients.

Ingredients :

  • ¼ cup chia seeds
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 ½ cups buckwheat flour
  • 3 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ⅔ cup water
  • ¼ cup oil
  • ¼ cup buckwheat grains divided

Directions :

  1. Combine chia seeds and water in a small bowl. Set aside to soak.
  2. In a different large bowl, combine buckwheat flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Stir in water, oil, soaked chia seeds, and half of the buckwheat grains until combined.
  4. Pour your batter into a parchment-lined loaf pan and top with remaining buckwheat grains.
  5. Bake for 1 hour at 355F.
  6. Serve with your favorite spreads, and enjoy 🙂
