Branzino

Branzino, a Mediterranean sea bass, is a delicacy enjoyed by many for its tender, flaky meat and subtly sweet flavor. Whether you're a seafood connoisseur or a novice looking to expand your culinary skills, this recipe is an absolute treat.

Ingredients :

  • 2 whole branzino cleaned and descaled
  • 2 lemons zested and sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • Fresh herbs rosemary, thyme, parsley
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions :

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Rinse the branzino under cold water and pat dry.
  3. Score the skin of the fish on both sides.
  4. Rub the fish with olive oil, then season both the outside and inside with salt, pepper, and lemon zest
  5. Stuff the fish cavity with lemon slices, minced garlic, and fresh herbs.
  6. Place the fish in a baking dish and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and the skin is crispy.
  7. Allow the fish to rest for a few minutes before serving.
