Baked Tilapia in Foil

Who doesn’t love a recipe that’s easy to make and easy to clean up? This foil-baked tilapia keeps things simple while locking in all the juicy, flaky goodness.

Ingredients :

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 fillets tilapia
  • 1 white onion chopped
  • 1 carrot cut into strips
  • 2 green peppers cut into strips
  • 1 ear corn cooked and kernels removed.
  • 1 lemon cut into wedges
  • 4 sprigs fresh oregano

Directions :

  1. Create your spice mix by combining onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a small bowl and set aside.
  2. Place a tilapia fillet on a square of tin foil and top it with some onion, carrot strips, green peppers, corn, fresh lemon wedges, a sprinkle of the seasoning mix, and a sprig of fresh oregano.
  3. Place the packets on a cookie sheet and bake them for 12 minutes at 300F.
  4. Serve your healthy baked tilapia in foil, and enjoy!
