
Apricot Chicken
Apricot Chicken is a sweet and savory dish that’s easy to make and full of flavor. It’s made with just a few ingredients—chicken, apricot preserves, onion soup mix, and a bit of soy sauce. The sauce becomes sticky and delicious as it bakes, coating the chicken with a tasty glaze.
Ingredients :
- 4 –6 boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 1 cup apricot preserves
- 1 packet dry onion soup mix
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish optional
Directions :
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place chicken in a greased baking dish.
- Make sauce – In a bowl, mix apricot preserves, onion soup mix, soy sauce, and garlic.
- Pour sauce over the chicken and spread to coat evenly.
- Bake covered with foil for 30 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes until chicken is cooked through and sauce thickens.
- Serve hot with rice, veggies, or your favorite side. Garnish with parsley if using.
