Air Fryer Turkey Breakfast Sausage

Air Fryer Turkey Breakfast Sausage

You’re gonna flip over the flavor of these homemade sausage patties that crisp up in the air fryer, rather than in a pan. This means you can skip the oil for frying for a healthier twist on breakfast.

Ingredients :

  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • 1 Tbsp. light brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. finely chopped fresh sage leaves
  • 3/4 tsp. kosher salt
  • 3/4 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp. fennel seeds, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • Olive oil cooking spray

Directions :

  1. In a medium bowl, combine turkey, brown sugar, sage, salt, paprika, red pepper flakes, fennel seeds, and garlic powder with a fork or your hands until evenly combined. Using damp hands, form turkey mixture into 8 thin patties about 3" in diameter and 1/4" thick (the meat will puff up in the air fryer).
  2. Grease an air-fryer basket with cooking spray. Working in batches, arrange patties in basket, spacing about 1/4" apart (do not overcrowd). Cook at 400°, flipping patties halfway through, until golden and crisp, 5 to 8 minutes.
