Air Fryer Salmon Burger

If you love the idea of adding healthier meals to your recipe repertoire but don't often have the time for a home-cooked meal, then you need to check out this air fryer salmon burger recipe.

Ingredients :

  • 1 pound salmon
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • ¼ cup chives
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • ¾ cup bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 6 burger buns
  • 3-4 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2-3 tomatoes sliced
  • 6 leaves lettuce

Directions :

  1. Combine salmon, capers, onion powder, black pepper, garlic powder, chives, parsley, and bread crumbs in a bowl. Mix until all ingredients are incorporated.
  2. Separate your mixture into 6 equal parts and shape them into patties. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet and then in the freezer for 1 hour.
  3. Once the patties are frozen, place them in your air fryer basket, evenly spaced, and give them a light coating of non-stick cooking spray.
  4. Air fry for 10 minutes at 400F. They are done when they have a light, golden crust.
  5. Add some Dijon mustard and mayonnaise to the buns, then place your patties on the bun and top with tomato and lettuce.
  6. Serve and enjoy
