Jambalaya

A delicious and filling recipe packed with the healthy deliciousness of sausages, vegetables and rice…

Ingredients :

  • 1 lb. smoked sausage chopped
  • 1 can red bean
  • 2 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 1 bell pepper chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 stick of celery chopped
  • ⅛ cup parsley chopped
  • 2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 ½ cup long grain white rice
  • Creole seasoning to taste

Directions :

  1. Press "saute", add the sausage and saute for 5 minutes.
  2. Take out the sausage and place aside.
  3. Add olive oil, onions, bell pepper, celery, and parsley and saute for a 3 minutes.
  4. Add the garlic and saute for 2 more minutes.
  5. Add the rest of the ingredients (including the sausage) and stir well.
  6. Close the lid and cook on high pressure for 7 minutes.
  7. When cooking time is complete, do a quick pressure release.
  8. Open the lid and serve
